Availability
Set working hours, timezone, and date overrides for when you can be booked.
Open Dashboard → Availability. The UI edits your default schedule (created during onboarding as Working hours).
Schedule basics
- Schedule name — label for the schedule
- Timezone — drives slot generation (IANA)
- Day toggles for Sun–Sat with time ranges
- Add hours for multiple windows on a day
- Copy times then Apply to other days
- Shortcuts: Weekdays 9–5, Clear week
- Save to persist
Date overrides
Use Add date override:
- Pick a date
- Either Mark unavailable all day or set custom hours
- Save override
Overrides appear in the list as Unavailable or HH:MM–HH:MM.
How slots are calculated
Orbit Cal combines:
- Your schedule hours (in the schedule timezone)
- Minimum notice and booking window from the event type
- Buffers before/after existing bookings
- Google Calendar free/busy for your selected calendar (if connected)
For team event types, each member’s personal default schedule is used; open slots are the union of free members.
Org context
Availability you edit is always your personal schedule. Team bookings still use each member’s personal hours.
