Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Orbit Cal at orbitcal.de (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Orbit Cal lets users create booking pages, set availability, accept appointments, and optionally sync with Google Calendar. Features may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
• Usernames must not impersonate others or infringe rights. We may reclaim or disable usernames that violate these Terms.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate law or third-party rights
• Spam, harass, or abuse attendees or other users
• Attempt unauthorized access, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service
• Use Orbit Cal to distribute malware or phishing content
• Misrepresent your identity or the purpose of meetings in a deceptive way

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

5. Bookings and your content

You retain rights to content you submit (event titles, descriptions, notes). You grant us a license to host and process that content solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your availability, event details, and communications with attendees. Bookings are agreements between you and your attendees; Orbit Cal is not a party to those meetings.

6. Third-party services

Optional integrations (including Google Calendar and Google Meet) are subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies. Connecting an integration authorizes us to access the scopes you grant. We are not responsible for outages or changes by third-party providers.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data and forms part of how the Service operates.

8. Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that bookings will never conflict due to race conditions, third-party calendar state, or misconfiguration.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orbit Cal and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) €50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, bookings, misuse of the Service, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations) will survive termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply. Courts in Germany have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory local consumer venue rights.
